Arranged in such a meticulous way
everything in its right place
a scaffold upon which more chaotic structures hang
Tightly coiled around the magnet
immersed in the field generated
each blade of grass sways in time
Rhythmic steps across a boardwalk
the strike of a match, the stroke of chalk
symbols drawn across a slate
equations and definitions
A computer model of a scale metaphor
where cause and effect
and tallied and scored
The waveform rides its predictable level
program saving from time to time
a flooded folder full of icons
and filling hard drive
it's almost too much.
there are
gaps in the arrangement
slits and slashes
light filters though
from the other side
eyes trace the structures
illuminated
and their bodies navigate them
with ease
