Heart struck
Like a beam from space
A signal from somewhere new
Beyond comprehension
It burns away the hardened shell
It stings and cleanses
Through tinted glass
I gaze upon the radiance
With designs to harness this power
That reaches down so deep
White hot heat bursts forth in reply
And I send my earthshine
Back to my beautiful star
Burning bright in the sky
